A businesswoman, teacher, speaker, mother and breast cancer survivor, Susan Abar is passionate about helping people and organizations develop competencies and achieve goals.
A coach, author and communicator, Susan facilitates workshops and speaks to organizations and individuals providing tools and encouragement to reframe challenges, overcome obstacles and achieve goals.
Susan grew up in the small town in southeast Michigan and attended college at Western Michigan University. Before graduating from college, Susan traveled to Europe, attended the University of Graz and studied music singing in a folk group. She later joined the Peace Corps walking three to five miles a day into the hills of Jamaica providing training and teaching tools to teachers. During her tour in Jamaica, Susan married and continued to live on the island for ten wonderful years before moving to Miami to attend graduate school.
In addition to a bachelor's degree in Education, Sociology, and Music, Susan has earned two advanced degrees, a master's in Human Resources and Business and a master's in Education.
